Division Rule for 12
The number is divisible by both 3 and 4 then a number is divisible by 12.
Examples:
Example 1: 144/12 = 12
STEP 1:Check divisibility by 3 : Sum of digit = 1+4+4=9,which is divisible by 3.
STEP 2:Check divisibility by 4 : 44/4=11,which is divisible by 4.
Hence the number is divisibile by 12.
Example 2: 648/12 = 12
STEP 1:Check divisibility by 3 : Sum of digit = 6+4+8=18,which is divisible by 3.
STEP 2:Check divisibility by 4 : 48/4=12,which is divisible by 4.
Hence the number is divisibile by 12.
